ABOUT PREMIUM RATE SMS, WHAT IS IT AND WHY DO WE USE IT?
Posting new mobile classified adverts on 66121 is free apart from your normal SMS or MMS network charges. Responding to these adverts is over a premium rate SMS. This allows us to protect the quality of the content and only attract serious advertisers and responders.COST TO ADVERTISERS
To use the 66121 service, advertisers simply send an SMS or MMS to 66121 or use the online form on www.66121.co.uk. 66121 do not charge you for this service. Your standard network charges apply. It takes just one message to list the advert on 66121, and a maximum of 3 messages if you choose to categorise your advert so that it is easier to find on the website. Creating your advert with the online form is free. It only takes one SMS to authenticate your mobile number.
An advertiser can choose to receive the mobile numbers of up to three responders. Each time a request for responder's contact information is sent to 66121 then new contact information is sent to the advertiser at a maximum charge of 25p for up to three mobile numbers. If there is no new contact information about responders, 66121 will not charge you. In case the advert has not been authenticated against a mobile number, this service to advertisers will not be available.
COST TO RESPONDERS
Users respond to a mobile classified advert by sending an SMS with the advert code to 66121. The system immediately connects the buyer to the advertiser by sending the advertisers contact details to the responder. Contact details can be a mobile number, a landline number, email address or any other form which identifies the advertiser. When you request an advertiser's contact details, the maximum fee is 25p plus your standard network charge.HOW TO GET SUPPORT?

POSTING AN ADVERT
HOW TO POST AN ADVERT ONLINE
It is free to use the online advert creation form on www.66121.co.uk. Fill out your advert description, mobile number, location and tags. A single PIN authentication process will make sure your advert is locked and personalized. Your mobile number will remain hidden.HOW TO POST AN ADVERT USING MY MOBILE
In a new SMS message type a description of your free advertisement. If you have a camera phone, you can also include a picture or video using MMS. Send the SMS or MMS to the number 66121. A confirmation message is sent back to you.STEP 2: HOW TO DEFINE YOUR LOCATION
The first confirmation message will ask for your location (postcode). Defining a location for your advert increases the chances of it getting found. In a second SMS message, or by replying to the confirmation message, type the first half of your postcode, 66121 will send a confirmation message back to you. Your advert is now published and marked with your location.STEP 3: HOW DO I DEFINE KEYWORDS FOR MY ADVERT
The second message from 66121 will ask you to specify keywords or "TAGS" for your advert. Defining tags for your advert will ensure it is categorised correctly. You can create your own tags or use existing ones already on the website. By replying to the confirmation message (we confirm you have set your location) text us your tags with the prefix word TAGS, e.g. "TAGS kitchen coffee maker". You have now successfully completed your advert. 66121 will send you the final confirmation that includes your advert code. Store this message in your phone. Responders will contact you soon.WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM LENGTH OF AN SMS TEXT MESSAGE (ONLY TEXT)
A standard SINGLE text message consists of 160 characters. If you send us an advert longer than 160 characters we will try to publish the whole message on the website.WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM SIZE OF AN MMS TEXT MESSAGES (TEXT AND PICTURES, SOUND OR VIDEOS)
Although there is no maximum length specified, it is recommended not to exceed 300 KB message size. Many mobile phones can reformat pictures and videos so they are optimised for use in MMS messages.HOW DO I CREATE A PICTURE MESSAGE?
The way picture and video messages (MMS) are created will vary depending on the make and model of your mobile phone. The standard way this is usually done is by selecting the following from the main menu in your phone:

You can add a picture to your advert simply by attaching a picture to your picture message (MMS). The way this is done will vary depending on the make and model of your mobile phone. Once you have created an MMS you usually attach a picture by selecting:
Options - InsertI'M UNABLE TO SEND PICTURE MESSAGES FROM MY PHONE. HOW DO I DO THIS?
Firstly, you must ensure that your phone has the capability to send picture messages (MMS). If you are unsure then contact the retailer where you bought your mobile phone and they should be able to tell you. Alternatively you can refer to the mobile phone manufacturer's website.
If you are still having problems sending a picture message (MMS) from your phone you may need to ensure you have the service activated with your service provider i.e. Vodafone, T-Mobile, 3, O2 etc.
HOW DO I GET THE CONTACT DETAILS OF THE PEOPLE THAT ARE INTERESTED IN MY ADVERT?
If someone is interested in your advert and your mobile phone was used to authenticate you as the advertiser, you will be notified. Then, simply send the letter C to 66121. You will get in one text message the phone numbers of up to three people who have shown interest in your adverts (25p fee applies).
If you want to know the contact details of one specific advert you published, simply send the letter C followed by the advert code
e.g. "C ADAWDJ".
WHAT HAPPENS IF I DON'T SPECIFY LOCATION OR TAGS?
Your advert will be published on the website for 14 days, but will not be found when users filter by location or keywords.HOW DO I RELIST AN ITEM?
Simply send a message to 66121 which starts with the advert code followed by the word RELIST,
e.g. "ADAMDW RELIST".
This service is free.
HOW DO I MARK MY ITEM AS SOLD?
Simply send a message to 66121 which starts with the advert code followed by the word SOLD,
e.g. "ADAMDW SOLD".
Your advert will remain listed on 66121 with a SOLD label. This service is free.
HOW DO I STOP THE ADVERT EARLY?
Simply send a message to 66121 which starts with the advert code followed by the word STOP,
e.g. "ADAMDW STOP".
Your advert will then be removed from 66121. Any message in the queue will still be processed. You will not be charged for stopping your advert. This service is free.CAN I USE A DIFFERENT MOBILE PHONE TO ACCESS/RELIST/STOP MY ADVERT?
No. You must use the original mobile number used to create the advert. If you use a mobile with another number then access to your advert will be refused. This prevents unauthorised persons interfering with your advert.
HOW LONG IS THE ADVERT LISTED?
The publication of your advert is instant. To ensure your advert is found by users searching or filtering by location or keywords (TAGS) we strongly recommend that you complete steps 2 and 3. If you choose not to then as new mobile adverts come into the system your advert gradually falls lower in the listing and rankings and becomes harder to find. It disappears from our system after 14 days.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF COMPLETING STEPS 2 AND 3 OF THE POSTING?
If you proceed with the second and third steps then we capture more information about your advert, such as location and keywords (TAGS). This allows users to find your advert more easily by filtering by location or keyword. You can of course always relist your advert and improve the ranking by relisting your advert multiple times each week or even day.
WHY IS MY ADVERT REJECTED?
On rare occasions adverts may be rejected if they contain prohibited content. If you have sent us an ad and you receive a message advising you that your advert text has been rejected then please check your text for any prohibited words or phrases. Simply edit your ad on your mobile and then resend to 66121. Remember, it is free to advertise on 66121.
AND WHY IS IT QUARANTINED?
Adverts which are submitted with prohibited content will be 'quarantined'. Publication of the advert will be at our sole discretion, and we reserve the right to amend the offending content before publication.
RESPONDING TO AN ADVERT
HOW DO I RESPOND TO AN ADVERT?
There are two ways to respond:
- Using your web browser: follow the instructions on the website after clicking on an advert and the contact details of the advertiser will be sent to your mobile phone.
- Using your mobile phone: text the advert code (e.g. ADGDTG) to 66121, and we will immediately send you the advertisers contact information. (25p fee applies).
WHAT DOES 66121 DO WITH MY TELEPHONE NUMBER?
When users respond to an advert, 66121 sends an SMS message containing the contact information of the advertiser, which enables the responder to contact them directly. In the same way, in case the advertiser has been authenticated by his mobile number, 66121 sends an SMS notification to the advertiser that someone has responded to one of his adverts. The advertiser can then request the responder's contact details.

PRIVACY POLICY
This policy tells you about how we use and protect your personal information.
We offer services that do not require you to register for an account or provide any personal information to us. In order to provide our full range of services, we collect the following types of information:
Mobile Information: When you post a mobile advertisement using sms text or mms multimedia, or when you respond to a mobile advertisement listed in our print publication or on our classifieds portal, we collect your mobile number and location.
Mobile phone number: your mobile phone number remains hidden and is only transferred to a potential responder after a text message from a potential responder has been registered in our system. This allows us to collect the respondent's mobile number before we share your mobile number. We will share contact information, including mobile numbers, to both parties in order to facilitate the dialog between advertiser and responder.
ONLINE LISTINGS
Cookies - When you visit the classifieds portal, we send one or more cookies - a small file containing a string of characters - to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our service. Most browsers are initially set up to accept cookies, but you can reset your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.
Log information - When you visit our mobile classifieds service website our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a page. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser.
User communications - When you send an sms text or mms multimedia message via our shortcode or telephone numbers, we retain all details regarding these communications that allow us to process your mobile advertisement and the responses from potential buyers. It is free to advertise and search on 66121 and to keep it that way we may send you marketing messages, so when you send an sms to 66121 you are agreeing to these terms. If at any time you no longer wish to use the 66121 service just text STOP .
Affiliated sites - We may offer our services in connection with other web sites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to us in order to deliver the service. We process such information in accordance with this Policy. The affiliated sites may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

Mobile Classified Advertisements - Our mobile classified advertisements are presented in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these mobile advertisements have been responded to. We use this information to improve the quality of our service and measurement.
Information Sharing - We share personal information with other companies or individuals outside of our business in the following circumstances:
We provide such information to our subsidiaries, affiliated companies or other trusted businesses or persons for the purpose of processing personal information on our behalf. We require that these parties agree to process such information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Policy and any other appropriate confidentiality and security measures.

We may share with third parties certain pieces of personal, aggregated and non-personal information, such as the number of users who searched for a particular mobile advertisement, for example, or how many users responded on a particular mobile advertisement.

Accessing and updating mobile classified advertisements - When you use our services, we make good faith efforts to provide you with access to your mobile advertisement and either to correct this data if it is inaccurate or to tag the mobile advertisement as sold at your request. Individual users are identified by their mobile number in order to access, correct or remove the information provided in the mobile advertisement. Using a different mobile phone with a different number won't allow you to access your mobile advertisement.
Privacy Policy Changes - Please note that this Privacy Policy may change from time to time. It is not our intention to reduce your rights under this Policy without your explicit consent, and we expect most such changes will be minor.
